ok listen up bucko. here's what we're gonna do. tha main page is gonna be a scrolling column, with a meaty background. tha boss will love it. the music embed could be an overlay on the page but that would get in the way of the stuff to read. it could be at the top of the scrollbar, or it could be at the bottom of the viewing page. but that would be difficult to format on desktop, the boss says.
anyways on the page there's gonna be a link to artichoke_records and that can have two main pages, one for all albums and one for favorite albums. maybe even a third page for aoty cataloguing? exciting possibilities. could use bookmarks to jump through the yearssss
oooh actually. bossman you could do bubble blocks for text and have horizontal rules display as new bubbles. you could also make the bubbles jagged and metallic for thematic reasons. hell yeah
OR you could use border & padding elements to make them bubbles. awesome
you should do a fancy with the link embeds bossman. could shift colors or smth that would be niceee
can add titles to links to let the peoples know where they are goign
floating images are cute you should remember them
for data storage you could make table with bubble edges, or with hover colors. wow
lists can be styled horizontally to create a navigation menu
can use classes to give various different elements the same style. an id is similar but it can only be used by one thang
could maaaybe use iframes for original writing embeds? that could be cute
html responsive is the thing u want, with the adapting to suit the given viewport size. remember to revisit that
ohhhh. specifically you could use a media query that would do the thing for you
ok so the thing is gonna be a sidebar, probably on the right, with two bubbles. one is a last.fm embed and the other is a link to friendSites. you want this to always be on screen, when site is in widescreen mode. when it's not you want these elements to collapse into openable tabs at the bottom, for mobile accessibility. when opened, they display like footer elements, across whole width of screen. should have a slightly different styled metal border for these, probably
maybe 600px for break point? cuz then youll always have th background visible
CSS has a universal selector, [src], so you don't need to manually set every single element to be of the same class
this prolly requires yabascript. check page size, if large then have sidebar bubbles position: fixed; if small then bubbles are hidden and replaced with openable buttons at bottom of page
check w3schools.com for refreshers on anything u need to know. check the layout or semantics section for getting urself a nice nice sidebar pookie xx
OH FUCK you could use SSE [server-sent events] to get last.fm updates automatically. that would rule actually
